Books by Dr J Patrick Doody

Pat has worked for various nature conservation organisations since completing a Ph D at Durham University in 1975. He left North East England in 1980 and joined Dr Derek Ratcliffe, and his Chief Scientist team based in Huntingdon. He has worked as a coastal specialist ever since. In 1998, he left English Nature to continue his coastal work as an independent consultant working throughout Europe. He has recently completed a book on the conservation and restoration of saltmarshes in the northern hemisphere.
He has lived in Brampton for over 20 years, serving on the Parish Council for most of them. Taking a special interest in the wildlife of the Parish he has published the three booklets with Just Print It. A member of the Wildlife Trust for over 30 years, he joined the committee of the Huntingdon Area Group just over three years ago. He edits their twice-yearly newsletter and manages the local group web site.
Dr J Patrick Doody has written these 3 booklets about the Brampton and its surrounding area.
